Since launching her filmmaking journey in 2010, Mickey has written, directed, produced, and acted in numerous recognized short films—earning a Special Mention Award at the Global Shorts Film Festival for DUO, a Best Actress nomination by Telemundo 47, and festival recognition at prestigious arenas like the HBO Cinemax Short Competition and the Winter Film Awards for her film Robin.

As a celebrated author of rich, emotionally driven fantasy novels like Detarru Island and the 2026 dark fantasy Scorched Devotion: The Feral Knight, Mickey’s entire career has been defined by one mission: to ignite imagination and remind audiences of the transformative power of a compelling narrative.
